I was asked to make a flash .swf banner. The supplied artwork was vector CMYK.eps.

I have next to zero Flash knowledge (as it is the devils work) so I attempted to make the animation in AE.

    1 x white background
4 x RGB .ai layers converted from the CMYK.eps
staggered these layers to show one logo after another.

Export in xfl, open in Flash. One black background and nothing else. Nothing in the library nothing in the timeline.

I realise that this is a cross application question but I thought I would try here first. (Everything is CS4 OSX)

    Hi John,

I tried recreating your scenario but didn’t have any problems with the XFL in Flash.

Any chance you had the Unsupported Features setting in the XFL export dialog set to Ignore?

If you post an .AI and/or .AEP I’d be happy to take another look at it.
