XFactor Cross platform success (Mac G5 to PCs)
Hi I have a relatively large project coming up involving 30 scenes shot in 2k cineon and am dreading the thumb twiddling I am going to be doing just to see quarter rez previews. I use a G5 2.5 Ghz, nvidia 6800. Has anyone had success hooking a G5 up to PC processors using grid iron X factor. Does it really speed thing up so much?
Any info would be appreciated.

My tests were between three Mac computers, but I was not impressed.
More hassle than it is worth in my opinion.
