XDCam workflow
I’ve searched but found little to explain it. I have 15 23Gb disks of footage and the camera crew loaned me their remote deck. How do I get it into the Adrenaline? I know I can digitize it the old fashioned way, but I would rather transfer the full-res files. I’m installing a second firewire card this morning with the hope that that will make something happen. I’ve let my assurance lapse and can’t afford to re-up now, so any help here would be greatly appreciated. I know nothing about how this is supposed to work. Should I hook up via the ethernet connection? At some point, if I put the right cable in, will I be able to drag and drop from the xdcam deck (will it show up like a drive on my computer?) to one of my Avid drives? I can’t find a white paper on this anywhere.
