xdcam transfer not opening clips
I am working with xdcam transfer version 2.11.0. I have 174 clips on an 8gb card. All of the clips open except for the last 4. When I scroll down to the last 4 clips xdcam transfer crashes. I can view the clips without a problem in browser. I have tried clearing the preferences file and it is still crashing. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Try updating Transfer to 2.13, the final production release: https://www.sony.com/xdcam-downloads . Go to the ‘Applications, Plugins and Drivers’ tab, then to ‘Legacy Applications.’
It would also be a good idea to check the clips in Content Browser, the replacement app for XDCAM Transfer. Transfer was discontinued and doesn’t run correctly under Mavericks.

Do the clips play back ok in the camera?

I’m running 10.5.8 on my mac right now. Its an old macbook pro. Not able to update any further so in turn I’m not able to update xdcam transfer to 2.13. The update is for 10.7. The clips play fine in the camera and also in browser. I have never had a problem before.
