I am trying to import some XDCam footage for a project I am working on. The footage was supplied to me by a third party on a hard drive. All the files and their structures seem to be fine. When I launch XDCam transfer, it reads the proxies and when I try to import them, it ONLY imports the proxies, not the hi-res files??? I can’t seem to figure it out. Any thoughts?
    Thanks!

    XDCam Transfer version 2.7
    Macbook Pro OS X 10.5.8
    FCP version 6.0.6

I don’t know why this would happen in the XDCam Transfer app, but have you tried using Log and Transfer in FCP as a temporary workaround? There’s a required plug-in if you don’t have it already.

Thanks for getting back. Turns out I just needed a newer version of XDXam Transfer to read the hi res files!?!

    That’s odd–well, glad it worked!
