XDcam Transfer
I have recently began cutting a 4 camera show shot at 59.94i in MPEG HD. The assistant came in to digitize the footage and things were going smoothly until the last few tapes when they began to transfer really slow (a 3GB file was taking 18 hours!!) The XDcam deck is going straight into my mac pro via USB and the data is getting stored on an x-raid (it is a little full, so that was my first thought). Any thoughts??

Yeah, if everything was going good and then slowed down I would suspect that your drive is too full. Try another one if you can and see if that helps.

Fragmentation could be a culprit too.
