XDcam & PDW-F70
Im trying to get the footage I shot into Final Cut Pro 5.1 ( Latest Version) via Firewire. I keep getting the Unable to “recongize deck” . Any ideas what Im doing wrong?

Ok so now Im at the stage where the proxy clips are in the XDcam Viewer, But the Add function so I can Import them into FCP is not enabled. Do i need to set in and outs on every clip?

You need to select the clips you want to import. Apple-A for all.

Still will not allow me to click (Add) Do I have to have the disc in the deck?

Did! Actually read Apples (White Paper) as well. FCP is not supporting 35mbit. for at least another 30days untill 5.1.2 is released. So I Cloned the discks from Camera to deck, but recorded it at 25Mbit. Works fine now. Thanks though.
