    Hello,
I’m having quality issues when I export a quicktime from FCP (With the timeline settings) and import it into DVD Studio Pro.

After it makes the DVD the edges of the faces of the people we interviewed are broken up. I’m making Standard def dvds so I don’t understand why the HD looks so bad. Any suggestions or hints?

    thanks

Create a new sequence with new sequence settings of SD uncompressed 8-bit widescreen. Copy/paste your XDCAM HD timeline onto this new sequence and re-render.

    Then export this new file.

This is how I’ve been working with 720p footage from a JVC HDV camcorder and it renders out amazing.
