Having trouble trying to import the XDCAM mxf proxy files to FCP. I’m able to import and place on timeline – problem 1 is that it requires rendering and 2 it won’t render the audio.
I’m using V5.0, reccomended is 5.1. However the Sony software for normal import of IMX or DVCAM files works a treat.

For Sony Proxies: Create a OfflineRT timeline. Activate unlimited realtime, edit.

Problems: It’s not native, Audio doesn’t work yet.

    For Flip4Mac Proxies: Create a MPEG-4 timeline in 352 x 288, square pixels.
You can edit now the F4Mac proxies natively.

    Problems: Audio doesn’t work yet.
