  XDCam Import Error in Final Cut

  I’m using XDCAM Transfer on FINAL CUT PRO (6.06) to import some footage shot on the Sony EX-3.

  85% of all the files imported just fine. However, on a few source groups, half of them give me an error:

  Exception opening XDCAM EX file (Condition Failure-cannot open)

  And there even a few that read “NO CODEC.”

  This is very strange because they were all shot on the same camera and, according to the operator, the settings never changed. The same person has been able to view them all in Adobe Premiere, so I know for a fact they are not corrupt.

  Any ideas?
