    Hi

I am working on footage shot on an sony EX …. I am working in the codec XDCAM HD422 1920x1080i.
I need export a quicktime movie complete with bars/tone/clock etc, that will go to a facilities house to be played out to digi beta.

Should I provide them with the movie in the native codec and assume they will down convert to play out, or should I convert myself when I export from FCP?

If so, I would assume to convert to apple pro res 422 720×576 16:9, is that correct?

    Thanks

    Ceri

Why are you asking us? ASK THEM! They are the ones doing the ouptut. Communication between you and the vendor is CRUCIAL. Ask them what they want. They can tell you better than we can…we have NO IDEA what they want.
