  • XDCam HD “Clip Name” vs “Clip Title”

We logged our disc and created new names for each clip in the Logging window (Clip Title). This does not change the “Clip Name” in the Information window.

When importing to Avid, we don’t get this new “Clip Title” that we entered in the Logging window, we see the Clip Name (i.e., C005S01). How can we get the Clip Title to appear in the Avid–preferrable as the Name?

Using MC 3.0 software only version on Mac.

    Thanks for your help.

Select your bin, set it in text view, select NO CLIP (that’s a hard one if you have a full bin, in that case press ctrl shift A)
    Right mouseclick and select ‘headings’.
Now select all you want to see, and deselect the nonsense.

    Bouke,

Nope, that doesn’t show the Clip Title. I get the file name “Clip Name” from the disc, but the “Clip Title” does not show up in any column.
