  XDCam HD Capturing/Editing Workflow

  Hello…
  We are in the process of getting 2 XDCam HD 350 Cameras and updating 2 of our FCP G5’s to Intels. So I am trying to get some ideas of workflows before we get the equipment. We will be shooting in HD (not sure which bit rate we will use) and the final stories will air SD (output to either miniDV,Betacam SP, or to the NEWS Server). So just wanted to get some ideas of some workflows (capturing/editing) from the forum before we get equipment and start playing around. The only issue is that once we get the equipment we will not have much time for testing since we have to start shooting and editing stuff for a College Football show that we just got. So any ideas of how others work with XDCam footage is much appreciated.
