XDcam HD acceptance with broadcasters?
Wow, seems like the EX-1 has taken over the Cinealta forum! Makes me pretty nervous as a f900 shooter.
I also have 2 HVX’s in underwater units, and am having resolution issues with these cameras against f900 footage.
Does anyone know the acceptance criteria for the big HD broadcasters with regard to the new XDcam HD “formats”, the 35mb/s EX-1 and the new 4:2:2 flavour. Higher resolution and higher compression seem to be the order of the day.

I’ve seen F900 footage intercut with EX1 footage and they go together quite well. As far as XDCAM HD footage for broadcast I know that the Discovery program “Mythbusters” has been shot with XDCAM HD for a while now but the footage is NOT EX1 footage.
