XDCAM HD 422 stereo tracks?
I made a XDCAM HD 422 mxf file for a broadcasting company and the QC came back with “audio was dual mono instead of stereo”. Does XDCAM even support stereo tracks in its specs (I might need to do a 1-2 stereo 3-4 M&E setup) and how would I accomplish this?

When I export to XDCam I always choose dual mono and that works great. You can’t export stereo tracks back to a XDCam mxf what I know of. How could that be a problem for a broadcasting company?

Well that’s exactly what I thought. That’s not the first time I’ve had some pretty weird requests.
