    Hi
I have some xdcam footage that was used in a project. I worked on it last week then put it aside until yesterday. When I opened the project premiere conformed the files again as expected. However there is a problem between the master clips and the clips on the timeline; Within the bin the clips appear in full with audio and video. In the timeline the clip does not display audio or video and appears with slash lines through like a freeze frame. Is there any way to force premiere to re-conform the files? Could that fix what appears to be a linking issue within the project? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

What happens if you right-click on a clip on the timeline and ask it to “reveal in project”?

I’m not sure what you’re referring to when you say “slashed lines”… If the clip on the timeline has diagonal lines on it…I believe that means the track is locked. You may want to check this…

The clip not showing video or audio might indicate that the clip is ‘disabled’? If you right click on the clip, you should have the ability to ‘enable’ it…

Dunno why the project would do these things…sounds like a possible bug, but hopefully one or more of these items would at least fix your problem.

Do you have any other video-specific hardware on the machine? Have you added any since you last saved the project?
