  XDCam footage in SD timeline

  Hi I’ve searched forums but couldn’t find an exact answer.

  I have footage shot in HD on an XDCAM EX-1 that is 1080p24 (35 Mb/s VBR). I need to edit this in a SD timeline to broadcast standards.

  When i setup my sequence settings and playback to my monitor or print to tape there is a flicker to the image. Can someone help me get my settings correct so it doesn’t flicker.
