[dan jones] “The files are on the hard drive and not on SxS cards. Could that be the problem?”

No. I always run Transfer on files I’ve already copied off of the SxS card onto a hard drive.

Unfortunately, I’ve never encountered this issue, so I’m out of suggestions. Other than suggesting you also post this over in the XDCAM forum as well.

I did this yesterday with the XDCAM Browser 2.0 You go to the Clip menu and select import into FCP. It does create a XLM file but if you select the .mov it imports into FCP X 10.0.3 just fine. My understanding is that the XDCAM Transfer is not going to be updated (EOL) and that the XDCAM Browser is the replacement.

Thank you all for your help.

Dave Jenkins solution using the browser 2.0 software did the trick(after I figured out that my ‘clip browser’ software was not the same thing.

    Onward and upward.
