Has anyone tried using a tablet (Mac or android) to move files from an external card reader to an external hard drive? It seems like it might be easier to do with most android tablets because a lot of them have a couple of USB connections already. I know the android OS is different as well. Has someone created an app to do this? This is the only thing keeping me from getting one.

There’s the “G-Connect” from G-RAID that lets you store content wirelessly from an iPhone or iPad. This fall Apple will be activating their “iCloud” servers which allows you to wirelessly sync all your Apple devices automatically as well as to store and retrieve content. This will be started when IOS 5 starts shipping.

I don’t know about the other devices but I’m sure there’s already hard drives out there for android stuff.
