XDCAM EX Clip Browser explorer window problems
When I open an SD card from my SONY EX1 in the Explorer window of Clip Browser none of the clip thumbnails appear and the program freezes if I try to preview the clips. I have sucessfully viewed the clips from the SD card on other systems so I know it is not an issue with the card.
Any and all suggestions appreciated!

Going thru this issue right now as well, essentially you need to be sure your computer has the XDCAM codec.
I’m a MAC FCP guy so, I’m not really qualified to help you with your PC and softwares.
I had a guy recommend something called a KMPlayer, I haven’t tried it out yet but apparently its works on his machine with windows 7
VLC can play the XDCAM codec, but I’m having issues with the audio playback on the windows side still. Not sure what your audio codec is but maybe VLC will work for you.
