XDCam Clip Assistance
A month ago I had posted that my sandisk sdhc card and adapter threw me back an error saying “media needs to be restored”; however it didn’t give me the option to restore the media. Apparently, the SDHC card was to blame. I sent in the SDHC card to a data recovery specialist. They were able to obtain the data from the card; however I am running into some problems trying to wrap the mp4 file with quicktime.
Does anyone know of any software that would let me just convert the .MP4 file so I can play it on my MAC..I am assuming i would have to convert the file to a Quicktime Format?

Import the MP4 into ClipBrowser 2.5 and it will create a new BPAV. You can then use XDCAM Transfer 2.9 to wrap that to MOV. Some say you can do this is XDCAM Transfer directly but I’ve never tried.
Since I’ve been using the EX1 from Dec 2007 I’ve never had to rescue any of my clips. I’ve been using SDHC since January 2009 without incident.

Does it matter if its version on Windows or Mac…I have access to both. Thanks
