I have an upcoming project that will have 720p and 1080p XDCam footage in the same timeline. Does anyone know of any potential problems? Is it best to edit in a native XDCam timeline/format or would ProRes be better for graphics? Editing on a dual core Intel 3Ghz with a Kona LHe. Thanks!

You can edit with the two sizes in the same sequence without problems, even in an SD time-line. Just think which will be your final size.
You can set your sequence in native XDCAM but the rendering in Proress (in the Sequence Setting). Edit like that your movie and change the sequence codec to Proress right before exporting to get your master in Proress..
