    hi there..

    trying to import xdcam footage with xdcam transfer tool v2.1.0
    I manage to import but i don’t get thumbnails but a warning

    The clip thumbnail could not be saved to the cache as it was an unrecognised format.

    footage was shot on a sony pdw 530p

    does anyone know what to do… would like to see first before i import

    you need to also download XDCAM Driver.. do a search here for the link.

    It could be Mac OSX Snow Leopard. I had the same problem. XDCT is not yet supported for Snow Leopard. I downgraded to Leopard and the thumbnails worked fine again.

    I think you will find there is a new version of XDCam Transfer that DOES support Snow Leopard

    I am not having any problems w/Snow leopard on a MBP, FC 6.0.6
