I’m in the process of upgrading my Adobe Production Premium to CS6 and want to upgrade hardware too. I want to take advantage of the X79 spec and an Intel Core i7-3930K CPU. I also want to invest in an Ultra studio Pro to take care of future and legacy formats. Will the BM kit cope with this or will I run into problems?

I had my HD Extreme installed in a new system last week with the X79 and could not get video out of the BM card. Adobe CS 6 recognized the audio but not the video. I tried everything from updating BM driver, updating CS6 reinstalling all windows and the same happens.
Now i have my computer in service trying to install another motherboard, this time is the DX79SI from intel. I hope my issue will be resolved.

    Hello Hugo,
if you take a look into BMD Resolve system specs, you will find that they suggest the Asus P9X79 PRO (and I can confirm that the standard P9X79 works too). The Intel may work, but if you’re in time, switch to an Asus one to avoid problems.
    Best Regards,
