  X serve Raid Setup?

  Greetings all! Hope you had a nice turkey day…

  I am setting up my first Xserve for a single edit system and need some thoughts on what type of Raid setup to use.

  My setup currently is:

  – 1 edit system connected (MacPro 3ghz)
  – 1 fiber card (2 port)
  – primarily working with DVCpro HD, SD uncompressed formats

  From what have read so far, it looks like Raid 50 is the best option for speed/drive use. Any thoughts, tips, places to read more about it?
