    I’m running FCP 5
    G5 OS 10

I can only capture about 20 sec of Uncompressed 10 bit NTSC video, then FCP tells me it has dropped frame. I have the X Raid in a RAID 50 and I have 1TB of free space. Am I missing something?

This is something that alot of people keep running into. I would check your Raid Admin settings. I beleive in the “settings”, there is a flush memory box, that is checked, by default. You are going to want to turn that off.

Look into the Raid section of the Topics on here.

    Good Luck,

In your Raid admin settings, you want to disable “Host Cache Flushing”.

    Look at this:

I had the same problem, resettting the controllers in RAID admin fixed it.
