I have a scene where the x-particles emitter is emitting the text as an object and using the texture as where to emit from so the text
    dissolves.

    https://vimeo.com/157285124

Now I want the text to use a feather as the particle it dissolves to. Do I have to use another emitter an how would I make sure it’s following the line for the emitter emitting texture from text?

    Thanks

those are x-particles with an x-particle shader? If so, then just add an xpGenerator object with the feather as a child of it

I’m using a texture for the emitter with the text. Here’s a link to the C4D file – at the bottom of the page. https://fluid-productions.net/home/about-us/

here’s a modification using a simpler ‘feather’ object for testing. The feathers go in the xpGenerator which feeds them to the xpEmitter 9856_xparticlesemitobject2.c4d.zip

Can’t seem to get the feather object to be recognized by the emitter.
