x on the viewer canvas
What is the meaning of the black x on the white circle on the top right of the view canvas. It shows up here and there when I run through my project time line with my curser. Is it a dropped or bad frame and if so how can it be remedied?

It means the application has loaded the frame. It’s still being processed. It’ll appear on frames with effects sometimes.
