I need to retrieve the X and Y coordinates of (seperate) textlines in Illustrator.
I keep getting stuck with the coordinates of the bounding box instead of the text baseline as required.. how do I do this???
The boundingbox can be adjusted but only up to the maximal ascents and decents of the font.. I really need the Baseline coordinates

    Anyone??

I know of no way to get what you need directly, but you could draw a line along the baseline and get those coordinates.

    Hope it helps.

I am a simple creative professional that can get my Adobe suite and a few other creative tools to do what I want. Barely. 🙂
