I am having an issue while trying to Batch Capture footage. I have imported my EDL into Premiere CS3 and highlight the clip(s) that I wish to capture; then I right-click and select Batch Capture. At this point Premiere proceeds to begin capturing the clip at approximately 18 seconds earlier than the specified In-point on the tape. (for example, my In point is set at 04:47:54:00 but capture starts at 04:47:36:22). The specified duration is adhered to, however, the Out point is also 18 seconds earlier than specified. The instant that I select OK for batch capture the In point and Out point change in my capture window.
The work-around that I’ve been using has been to copy/ paste the In and Out points from my bin into the capture window and select Capture: IN/OUT. This works just fine except that I need to digitize about 100 clips, so doing this for each one would be VERY time consuming. Is there a setting that needs to be enabled or disabled somewhere?
