wrong preview monitor
Hi all,
I recently upgraded (finally) to Vegas 17 and upgraded my GPU .
When I select preview on external monitor it opens on my main display.
I have a feeling this isn’t Vegas’ fault but something to do with the GPU because when I open a project in my old Pro 12 it does the same thing.
If I right click on my desktop and select Display Settings and then identify it correctly shows my main display as 1 and the 2nd as 2.
However when I hit detect it states it “didn’t detect another display”.
Everything else seems normal as I can drag a browser onto the 2nd monitor but Vegas doesn’t want to use it as a preview monitor.
Like I say, I have a feeling it’s something wacky with the GPU and not Vegas but I was hoping someone here can help.

RandyEdit- BTW options/prefs/prevew device/ identify correctly identifies them as well.

It is indeed something wacky with your GPU…..
As you have not mentioned which GPU card etc, you have to fiddle a little bit more with its configurations to get the correct result.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
