  wrong footage displayed

  I rendered an effect from AE for a shot and added it to my premiere CS5 timeline (I did not use a linked comp for this). I have since made changes to the shot and rendered a new clip with a new filename. Both old and new clips were rendered the same way, HD, h.264. I selected the old footage in the project window and chose “replace footage” and chose the new clip. Now, when I play back the timeline, it still shows the old clip, although the new filename is displayed. However, if I open the footage in the source window it displays the new clip correctly. I have already restarted once.

  Is there a way to force premiere to update the timeline playback?
