    Hello,

i get wrong colors displayed in program and source monitor.
The weird thing is: when i select the picture in the program window, the colors turn right!

This happens on my Lenovo x61 Notebook.

    Using:
    Premiere Pro 4.2
    Vista 32 Prof
Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
    The video driver is updated.

Try turning down/off Hardware Acceleration for the Display adapter…if that fixes, try new drivers.

By Hardware Acceleration, do you mean OpenGL? OpenGL isn´t turned on. And i have installed the newest drivers.

Hardware Acceleration is in Advanced settings of the Display Settings window in the Troubleshoot tab..

    Thank you Mike!

It was the Hardware Acceleration / OpenGL.

The problem was i couldn´t deactivate the Acceleration in the driver settings menu. It was greyed out.

The Inteltool-update-tool told me i have the newest drivers!
But it was a custom driver by Lenovo.

So i installed the newest Intel driver which tolds me there is a newer version of the driver on the pc!!!

But i did install the intel driver. After that i had the possibility to deaktivate the Hardware Acceleration.

Colors came back and editing was possible in PP!

But with Hardware-Acceleration disabled my VLC now shows blocky video! Arrggghhhhh

    Computer Nightmare continues…

    Hello Sabri.

Thanks for posting all this, and especially the sample images as they exactly match what I am getting. I have an Intel GM965 chipset, recently updated the drivers and am now getting the same problem.

Unfortunately I cannot seem to disable hardware acceleration either. Can you tell me which chipset and which driver version you are using? Really need to get this working as fast as possible.

    Thanks,
    Don

    Hi Don,

i used the newest driver from the Intel website. Not the driver from the notebook manufacturer!!

    See the picture:

At display settings > properties > problem… (sorry, don´t know the english terms, my system is in german)
