  • Write or Change Expressions for many layers at the same time. Is this not possible?

    Hi Community
I ask myself and you why when I select multiple layers and then for example press “s” for scale and select all “scales” again and then I press alt + click the stopwatch and write some expression, only one layer gets the expression. The other layers only get a standard expression “transform.scale”.
What if I have 50 layers for example and want to change a expression for all of them, do I have to copy and paste the expression 50 times? Is there no way to change all of them at once?
    Thanks for replies.

    P.S.
    I tested with AE_CS5

After you edit the expression, make sure the property is selected, Edit>Copy Expression Only, select all the other layers, Edit>Paste.
