i want to master in davinci resolve and therefore sync the final 6ch (5.1 mix) to the colorcorrected master.
i add 6 mono audio tracks and edited in the discrete audio channels.
but when i render out a prores4x4 davinci seems to make a stereomix in ch1&2 and leaves the other audio
tracks muted, despite selecting render 6ch of audio.

what am i doing wrong? has anyone tried that yet succesfully?

Use the mixer to map your outputs. I ran into the same issue.

    thx juan.

but still i dont quite get it, perhaps because i am no audio guy 🙁

i have 6 discrete (mono) channels in my timeline, i go into the audio-mixer,
and then there are mapping options like:
    1+2, 3+4, 5+6, 7+8 etc.

why this? i dont have stereo tracks in my timeline but mono ones! how should i map
the 6 channels if i can only map to two other channels? what am i missing?

    thx again!
