    Hello,
    I’m new to Cinema 4D and I work with R10.5 version,on XP.
    I had to intersect to objects,first is a kettle,and second arabic words written in a form of the kettle.I bended the words with “wrap” tool,and now,what I need is to intersect these two objects.In fact,I need just the words imprimed on kettle,after the intersection (with a special width).I’ve tried with “boole tool” but it seems that I have not enough memory…or maybe I’m doing something wrong. Anyway,after their intersection and many tries,I did with “boole” the option “A without B”,so the result was the intersection of words with kettle,but the kettle was still there,so I begin to erase the parts of it that I don’t need. Well,a lot of work in this way,and the result is not what I really need.I need the words to take the form of the kettle,and they must have a width and perfect edges…
    Please I need an answer,maybe is another way to do my work.
    Regards

    First thing you might try is unchecking the “High Quality” box in the boolean object.

    If that doesn’t work, and your kettle object has good UVs, you might try Michael Welters UV Deformer plugin: https://www.welter-4d.de/fplugs/freeplugins_en.html#uvdeformer

    If that still isn’t getting it, here’s what I’d do:

    Subdivide your spline a lot (Functions>Subdivide);

    Duplicate your kettle object;

    Select all the polygons of the duplicate and use Structure>Normal Move to push them out the distance you want your text extruded;

    Hide the duplicate with the visibility dots;

    Place the text spline inside the kettle and use the axis tool to move the text’s axis to the center point of the kettle, perpendicular to the spline’s position;

    Duplicate the spline;

    With one of the text splines selected, run the Structure>Edit Spline>Project command. Assuming that the spline has the Z axis facing out, you would use the Z axis mode to project cylindrically onto the kettle;

    Hide that kettle and unhide the duplicate. Then repeat the spline project for the other spline/kettle;

    Use a Loft Nurbs object with the two projected splines to form the extruded letters. You’ll probably have to increase the loft subdivision quite a bit to get a clean result.

    Thank you Adam,
    Well I’ve downloaded the plugins,and to be sincere I don’t understand how to use it!I saw the examples,but I do something wrong,the text get deformed up side down or curves in strange way.I know,I need more time to know how to use it….
    The second idea I didn’t try it yet…but I will!
    Regards,
    Mihaela

    Please can you tell me how or where to find tutorials that can teach me to draw like this picture?
