    Hi everyone!

This is my first time on the forums plus I am very new to Cinema 4D. Very excited to learn something! I’m working on a project where I have to wrap a bandage/wrap around an arm and have it deform based on the contours arm, like a shrink wrap. I need to control when the wrap goes around the arm so I’m using bend deformer to do the wrapping, which is exactly what I need. But, I am stumped on what to do to fake the deformation. I’ve tried surface deformer, collision deformer, and even shrink wrap, but nothing is working with my set up. My wrap goes crazy and polygons start stretching everywhere. I’ve looked all over the internet for help on this, but nothing seems to work. I’m very confident that this can be done in Cinema 4D, but I’m so new and inexperienced at it that I can think of a way. I would really appreciate some help on this and would be ever grateful if someone can help me troubleshoot this! Let me know if anyone needs more information, and I’ll be happy to provide!

    Thank you again!

Shrink Wrap is probably your best bet in combo with the bend but shrink wrap was meant to work with hollow objects, I think. The thickness causes the jaggies you are seeing. If you use that spline in a Loft with the bend and a shrink-wrap it should work, depends on whether the thickness really needs to be seen…

Thanks, man! It worked! I just had to put everything under a cloth surface to add thickness.
