  Wrap various videos around a wire

  Hi All,

  I am pretty basic in Cinema 4D but I’m willing to push myself with a few tips 🙂

  I want to create a wire which would write a word (a bit like neon signs). On the ‘wire’ would be a videos playing. These would wrap around it.

  Any tips? I am not sure about starting with a torus or sweep? I worked out adding a video as a material but how would I get that to wrap around my surface and what if I needed it to extend to another surface segment?

  I have attached a rough drawing of what I need. I’ll be doing in Cinema 4D Lite and doing more things in After Effects.
