Wow Apple
Wow – I posted something about an issue with the 5870 graphics card on the new 12 core mac pros over the weekend on the Apple discussion boards. Today I got a message from Apple wanting to talk about it and see if they could help….and people say they don’t look at those boards….
While it would make sense they want their most profitable mac working flawlessly, it’s pretty tits that they’d do their homework and find out how to reach me – and then call me. Just another reason why Apple is the only company I own stock in!

Often it’s the level 4 and up posters that bring technical problems to the attention of the Mods there… THen it’s escalated up to the Pro Apps team… The Mod’s just watch for inappropriate posts. It’s very likely this was escalated by another poster. In the “lounge” where you gain access when you become a level 4 poster, there is an area designated for this very thing…
