We have been working an idea for a few months now. We are going to record collections of ambient sound libraries and we want to donate a portion of the proceeds to environmental organizations. It’s called Phonic Shop.

    PhonicShop.com

We want to offer our libraries as quality, ready-to-use temp tracks for use while editing. We also want to offer small sound fx libraries at friendly prices, giving everyone flexible options.

We’ve been planning our first collection around the U.S. For our recording trips we are camping and backpacking as much as possible to get to the best, most remote spots and keep costs low.

Check out our Kickstarter to raise money for the rest of the gear we need.

We are offering our our first series as a reward on our Kickstarter. It’s the entire collection plus more for $100 dollars. In addition, you get a friendly thank you card.

Would this be useful for video editors/film makers out there?

Let us know what you think?

Very interesting. I need Missouri ambient sound, which seems to be shoehorned at the SW edge of your NE quadrant. Wondering if I would find something specific enough in your database.
    Good wishes.
