Hello, would anyone be so kind to advise how the main effect on the following ad is done?

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8AETJCo8Vtg

I mean the bit where the image seem to “slide off” screen (and it get blurred and sort of bleached out).. Guess it’s done in AE?

    thanks

the sliding effect is similar to the whip-pan technique in this tutorial:

    https://library.creativecow.net/articles/larsen_carl/simulating_whip_pans.php

the color effect could be created with an effect to effect the brightness (like levels, curves, exposure, even glow) and color (levels, curves, tritone, colorama, etc) and maybe a little blur.

i would probably try curves and tritone and maybe a little fast blur. i would put them on an adjustment layer over the top of both clips for the transition.
