Would like to output one timeline to a single codec/format, but to multiple filenames, without re-encoding each file
Hello everyone.
A newb to the forum, and recent FCP 7 to Premiere convert.Issue-
I have to output multiple versions of the same sequence.
The only change to each encoding instance is the filename.Goal-
enter multiple filenames to output, but only encode once.so-
exciting_foo sequence needs to be rendered out in say h.264 with all the same settings.
but i need say 8 versions of this same file, but with 8 different names.
i tried ‘duplicate’ in media encoder, and ‘add output’, but it re-encodes for each instance.i can find plenty of batch renaming apps, etc, but none that will duplicate and rename.
i did search the forums for about an hour, but couldn’t find anything helpful, if i missed a thread that covers this a link to it would be great.
Running CS6 on a Mac

Pardon if I didn’t understand the quandary, but can you not just copy the file 7 times in your output folder and give each one a unique name?
