  • working with translated footage – the right way?

    Hello,

Im working(again) on a project where some of the footage is translated.
All of the footage was put in one sequence, and translated with text layer by someone, one track above the footage.
Im not sure what the best way to work with it. Like most off the editors, i select the footage and set in and out point in the viewer panel.
But because every clip isnt translated sepratly, ill have to look to the sequence with all the footage, and then copy when i use this clip.
I tought off bringing the translated Seq in viewer and take it from there. But then when i want to do crosses or whatever the text wont match any more…

What could be the best way to do this?
Also i have to render the text every time again when i copy. strange cause they have the same Seq settings.

    T.

    Peace
