  Working with Text Boxes???

  Hi, this is my first post and I’m quite new at InDesign but what I need to be able to do is split my text boxes. You see I have a large text box with lots of text in it. What I need to do is be bale to split up the text box into individual boxes so that I can use the color swatches to change the background page color of certain sentences easily.

  I can already do this but I have to make each text box manually and then position the next one juuuust right so that my paragraph looks uniform. It’s very slow and cumbersome so if anyone has a suggestion to by issue I would greatly appreciate it.
