Working with Multiple Sequence Settings
Hello,
Hopefully one of the experts can help me out here. I am trying to integrate an image sequence into my film. I have the image sequence exported as a .Mov file with the following settings:
1920×1080
24 fps
Codec: Photo – JPEG (PNG works as well)When I go to add this clip to a fresh sequence, it prompts me, asking if I’d like to change the sequence settings to match the clip, so I click yes and everything matches up. However, I need to place this sequence within a larger sequence (the whole film) that has the following settings:
1440×1080
23.98fps
Compressor: HDV 1080p24When I drop the .mov sequence into the larger sequence, it changes that sequence’s settings to match it, completely killing the quality of the image sequence .mov file. I’ve tried exporting the image sequence into different .mov files (using Quicktime) that use the HDV 1080p24 codec, but the quality is horrible. It seems that the .mov file needs to use once of the codecs (Photo – JPEG or PNG) to look good, but I can’t have a sequence in a sequence with different settings.
Is there a way I can get this to work so the quality for the image sequence is the highest it can be and still use it within the larger sequence? I have never worked with image sequences before and seem to be stuck. Please help! Thank you in advance!
