Working with multiple Libraries each on separate external Hard Drives
Hi,
Right now I have 1 Library (A Wedding) I am working on that is located on External Drive A. It has all my clips and music I will use for this project.
I want to start another Library (Another Wedding) and put it on External Drive B.
Is this how I do it?
1) While the first Wedding is open I go to File — New Library
2) Name it and tell it to save on External Drive B
3) Close the first Wedding that’s on Hard Drive A
4) This will leave the 2nd wedding open with no imported clips as of yet.
5) I import footage for this wedding, telling it to import into External Drive B, (This is so I don’t mix footage from one wedding into another)Is this the correct way to manage my Libraries?
