I’ve been experimenting with squeezing one video layer to the side with a second video layer, then the same with that one back, with split screens for a few seconds in between, trying to figure keyframes out. I get about 1 minute into a sequence and the time line still moves but the viewer freezes, kind of like a mini crash.
    What causes this? Thanks Dean

Have you considered doing it with transitions instead of distortion keyframes?

Not really, I saw a video where ,at the end, the screen squeezes to the right and the credits rolled up the left of the frame. So I started tooling around with that effect useing keyframes . I ‘m new to editing so I thought I could just experiment and learn a little. The keyframes are kind of hard to figure out ,(doing what I was doing). I discovered that you had to kind of, think in reverse. But thats another topic.
I am concerned about the “mini crash” with my system. Did this happen because the actions I was performing are very labor intensive?
    Thanks , Dean
