Working with lower resolutions inside FCP
Hey all,
I am re-editing a project that I did years ago on much less sophisticated hardware. In most cases, I have the original footage to go back to. But in some, the only thing I have are the original movie files which are in a much lower resolution than 720×480 (mostly 320×240).
Knowing that the clips are lower quality, is there any filter or technique I can do inside of FCP to at least make them somewhat presentable and useable?

Actually, in the last few hours I have been enlightened to using Nattress chroma sharpen befor upscaling, which is beautiful and renders about four times faster than Resizer or Instant HD, which is another plug I’ve been foolng with this weekend. FYI

Let me add that your 320×240 movies may have considerable compression via Squeeze or Cleaner or whatever, in which case uprezing with anything may be pretty tough, if not impossible.
