    Have a project that just came in. The client has two flv files and wants me to edit. These are the only files the client has.

    What is the best way to bring these flv files into vegas to edit – I am using vegas 8.

    Hi Duane.
    Check out the Moyea suite. They have an FLV to Video converter. I haven’t tried it, but I do use some of their other programs.

    Another free way would be the conversion feature in the VLC player. I usually convert it to a high bit rate .wmv for Vegas. However, you can experiment with different codecs/containers and see what you like.
