Working with audio from 24 FPS Video
Hey there-
I was given some audio from a 24 FPS timeline, and no matter what I do, once I’ve worked in audition, I can’t get the audio length to match anymore. It seems like audition is assuming a 30 FPS timeline.
What is the workflow for taking audio from a 24 FPS timeline, editing it in audition, and then recombining in a video editor or (for me) After Effects.

Is this audio file a lossless wave file?
What is the bit rate and sample rate of the original file?
Are you maintaining these as you export the audio?
Are the file time length’s the same for the original and the rendered file? -
Also, is the video running at “true” 24 FPS or at 23.976? That type of discrepancy will cause a slight drift (~1.4 frames per minute) that can add up over time.
